Most time travel stories in this fandom uses mental Peggy Sue style time travel – characters get a chance to re-live their lives and do things differently. These are great! But for this fandom, I’d actually like physical time travel – I think there would be interesting possibilities and challenges when they don’t replace themselves. I’d love to see a story with Sansa somehow being put back at the beginning or before the start of the books/series, when her family was still alive, and she was a very different person, or when she was in King's Landing or the Vale, and could really use a friend.
How do the Starks react to this older, hardened version of Sansa who is older than Jon and Robb? Sansa who used to be the most Southern of their children turned into an adamant Northern separatist and a canny political actor? It might be interesting to see how young Sansa reacts to her older selves and who she’s become!
The nobility of Westeros is so insulated and focused on lineage it would be difficult to explain their presence (how would she deal with that? Some possibilities: distant relation, bastard child, or random person who just happens to look very much like the daughter of Ned Stark), and a lot of her possibilities to act would be constrained in interesting ways since whatever her cover story is, she’d have less power to act than she would as the daughter of the Lord Paramount of the North, but also more freedom to act since her every move isn’t being scrutinised in the same way. The question always remains – how much does she tell her past self and her family?

All of these characters change so much over the course of the series, it would be really fun to put the older, wiser, more mature and jaded characters in the place of their younger counterparts! Feel free to send one or two, or more characters back, I love them all. I also don’t care when they travel back to – in time to undo everything that went wrong, or at a later point, where some things have already been set in motion and all they can do is minimise the fallout.
Wesley was always pragmatic and ruthless, but his development on Angel hardened those lines even more. How would he relate to the much softer, more naïve Sunnydale crowd? Would he try to fit in better than he had the first time round, or would he try to make them change to be more ready for the challenges they are going to face? How would Wesley relate to Faith, trying to stop her from going off the rails? How would Faith react to Wesley? Would they manage to find common ground without her torturing him first?
Or what if Faith travelled back, and didn't work for the Mayor in season 3? How would she relate to Buffy and the Scoobies, knowing what she knew about how things ended up? What would she do with another chance to stay on the straight and narrow? What would she try to change, what would she leave in place? What would she not know about because the Scoobies hadn’t told her about it? How would the events of the later seasons be changed if Faith was there, and was on their side?
I love the relationship between Buffy and Dawn, how fond they are of each other, how they bicker and annoy each other, but how protective Buffy is of Dawn when it really matters. I’d love to see something with either one or both going back in time. Would Dawn struggle to be taken seriously as a child/young teenager? Would Buffy try to include Dawn more, knowing her potential and how desperately she wanted it, or would she try to shelter her from the supernatural?

I love time loops for many of the same reasons I love time travel – characters trying to figure out what’s going on, what to communicate with others, how to solve their situation and what to do with the extra knowledge they have. I also really like watching the character try different things to try to break the loop, and seeing how that changes the environment and the reactions of people around them. I like my time loops with a hint of despair – wondering if they’re ever going to find a way that works, how long it will take, what will they have to give up, etc. How many times do they have to watch their loved ones die/die themselves before they succeed in breaking the loop?
Lorne is my favourite character on SGA: I really like his air of calm competence, his dry sense of humour, his compassion and his good sense. He could be in a loop to prevent a non-canonical disaster on Atlantis, or be accidentally trapped by some Ancient technology, or maybe even looping as far back as the mining operation on P3X-403 in SG-1. Or maybe he relives his adventures with/against Aiden Ford, and can only escape when he saves him?
Speaking of, I also love Aiden! I really liked his enthusiasm, bravery and how he was just a little bit in over his head, but kept going anyway. I’d love it if he got a chance to rescue himself, change his own destiny, and either get to go back to or stay in Atlantis, depending on when you choose the loops to start – however many loops it would take.
I love the potential of the world-building of SGA, so anything that builds off that would be great – the idea of a floating/flying city, the way the Ancient gene allows them to interface with technology they don't quite understand, the way the city almost seems to respond to them as if it was alive, the way they never seem to have enough resources, the way they can lose contact with Earth at any given moment and are so reliant on the Stargates, the way different societies react differently to the Wraith threat, and the place of the Atlanteans in the Pegasus galaxy, etc., so feel free to explore those aspects!

I’m really keen on the idea of the sequel trio (any or all) ending up in the prequels or original era! How do they deal with meeting these heroes of a bygone era, or those they know as older people, in their prime? Do Finn and/or Rey get to train with the Jedi - either before the fall of the Order, or at Luke's school? Does Poe make a name for himself as a pilot and/or commander in either the GAR or the Rebellion? Does Finn, the renegade stormtropper, get to interact with Clone Troopers - either in the prime of the army, or the few survivors that are still around after the fall of the Republic?
Do they try to change the fate of the galaxy, to stop the rise of the Empire or the First Order, and if so, how do they go about it? I’d be super keen to read something where they don’t have all the facts, that they’re floundering a bit – not everything became public knowledge, secrets were being kept, things got twisted in the re-tellings, and so on. Maybe they have to try to keep their origins a secret – how suspicious are they to those native to the time they travel to? Or do they get on with the others right from the start? Or maybe they can be open about their origins, and the people from the two different times try to piece together what happened by combining their respective fragmented knowledge – I’d love to see what misconceptions arise - on both sides!

I'd love to see one or more of these characters end up in the past, maybe season 1, season 2, or even before the series - knowing what's about to happen and trying to change it - the forces they're up against are quite powerful, and even if they do know what's coming, some things will still be very difficult to prevent and solve, so it would be very interesting to see what they can and can't change!
It would also be really interesting to see them interact with others around them who haven't time travelled - the characters have grown to know a lot about each other and grown quite close (shared trauma) over the course of the show, so the discrepancy between where the characters stand with each other in the early and later seasons would make for some very interesting dynamics!
How would Robin fit in during season 1 or 2? How would she relate to Steve who wasn’t her friend yet and barely knew she existed? What would she know about the events of the first two seasons, and what would throw her for a loop? Would she try to save Barb’s life, if she arrived in season 1, or would she be too late for that?
Or what if Steve time travelled, to before he had his heel-face turn? How would he get involved in the adventure – would he join Jonathan and Nancy in their investigations, or would he seek out the Party and help them, and how would they react, since without context, his friendship with Dustin and the rest of the Party can be quite hard to understand?
Or what if Jonathan time travelled, and found Eleven before Mike? I’d love to see the two of them bond – Jonathan is such a good big brother to Will, and I’d love to see him mentor and help Eleven. How would his knowledge change how they went about getting Will back, given that he would know enough to call Eleven on her lies and get her to tell the truth? How would he approach that, and what conflicts would there be between them in that process?

I love the way wizardry works in this series, and would love to see the characters using wizardry to time travel in their fight against the Lone Power! Or maybe the Lone Power is causing chaos all over the time line and they have to find him and stop him? Maybe there’s a calls for help from wizards of a different time that they respond to? Or maybe they go on a wizard’s holiday to a different time, and Things Happen? Maybe a shadow of the Lone Power figures out a way to undo its redemption, and they have to go back along their own time line to make sure things proceed as they should, while also avoiding themselves? I would be very interested in seeing where you choose to send the characters, and about their adventures trying to blend in, and perhaps meeting the local wizards of that time? Or about their challenges in having to be very careful with what they say as you can’t lie in the Speech. Any era, past or future, works for me: go wild!
I really like the sisterly relationship between Nita and Dairine, so I’d love to see that explored, and I also like the strong friendship between Nita and Kit. I wasn’t 100% sold on their romance in the books, when they spent so much of the earlier books denying it, so I haven't requested the / version - that being said, I'm not opposed if you do ship them and want to try to convince me!

Most time travel stories in this fandom uses mental Peggy Sue style time travel – characters get a chance to re-live their lives and do things differently. These are great! But for this fandom, I’d actually like physical time travel – I think there would be interesting possibilities and challenges when they don’t replace themselves. I’d love to see a story with Sansa somehow being put back at the beginning or before the start of the books/series, when her family was still alive, and she was a very different person, or when she was in King's Landing or the Vale, and could really use a friend.
How do the Starks react to this older, hardened version of Sansa who is older than Jon and Robb? Sansa who used to be the most Southern of their children turned into an adamant Northern separatist and a canny political actor? It might be interesting to see how young Sansa reacts to her older selves and who she’s become!
The nobility of Westeros is so insulated and focused on lineage it would be difficult to explain their presence (how would she deal with that? Some possibilities: distant relation, bastard child, or random person who just happens to look very much like the daughter of Ned Stark), and a lot of her possibilities to act would be constrained in interesting ways since whatever her cover story is, she’d have less power to act than she would as the daughter of the Lord Paramount of the North, but also more freedom to act since her every move isn’t being scrutinised in the same way. The question always remains – how much does she tell her past self and her family?

All of these characters change so much over the course of the series, it would be really fun to put the older, wiser, more mature and jaded characters in the place of their younger counterparts! Feel free to send one or two, or more characters back, I love them all. I also don’t care when they travel back to – in time to undo everything that went wrong, or at a later point, where some things have already been set in motion and all they can do is minimise the fallout.
Wesley was always pragmatic and ruthless, but his development on Angel hardened those lines even more. How would he relate to the much softer, more naïve Sunnydale crowd? Would he try to fit in better than he had the first time round, or would he try to make them change to be more ready for the challenges they are going to face? How would Wesley relate to Faith, trying to stop her from going off the rails? How would Faith react to Wesley? Would they manage to find common ground without her torturing him first?
Or what if Faith travelled back, and didn't work for the Mayor in season 3? How would she relate to Buffy and the Scoobies, knowing what she knew about how things ended up? What would she do with another chance to stay on the straight and narrow? What would she try to change, what would she leave in place? What would she not know about because the Scoobies hadn’t told her about it? How would the events of the later seasons be changed if Faith was there, and was on their side?
I love the relationship between Buffy and Dawn, how fond they are of each other, how they bicker and annoy each other, but how protective Buffy is of Dawn when it really matters. I’d love to see something with either one or both going back in time. Would Dawn struggle to be taken seriously as a child/young teenager? Would Buffy try to include Dawn more, knowing her potential and how desperately she wanted it, or would she try to shelter her from the supernatural?

I love time loops for many of the same reasons I love time travel – characters trying to figure out what’s going on, what to communicate with others, how to solve their situation and what to do with the extra knowledge they have. I also really like watching the character try different things to try to break the loop, and seeing how that changes the environment and the reactions of people around them. I like my time loops with a hint of despair – wondering if they’re ever going to find a way that works, how long it will take, what will they have to give up, etc. How many times do they have to watch their loved ones die/die themselves before they succeed in breaking the loop?
Lorne is my favourite character on SGA: I really like his air of calm competence, his dry sense of humour, his compassion and his good sense. He could be in a loop to prevent a non-canonical disaster on Atlantis, or be accidentally trapped by some Ancient technology, or maybe even looping as far back as the mining operation on P3X-403 in SG-1. Or maybe he relives his adventures with/against Aiden Ford, and can only escape when he saves him?
Speaking of, I also love Aiden! I really liked his enthusiasm, bravery and how he was just a little bit in over his head, but kept going anyway. I’d love it if he got a chance to rescue himself, change his own destiny, and either get to go back to or stay in Atlantis, depending on when you choose the loops to start – however many loops it would take.
I love the potential of the world-building of SGA, so anything that builds off that would be great – the idea of a floating/flying city, the way the Ancient gene allows them to interface with technology they don't quite understand, the way the city almost seems to respond to them as if it was alive, the way they never seem to have enough resources, the way they can lose contact with Earth at any given moment and are so reliant on the Stargates, the way different societies react differently to the Wraith threat, and the place of the Atlanteans in the Pegasus galaxy, etc., so feel free to explore those aspects!

I’m really keen on the idea of the sequel trio (any or all) ending up in the prequels or original era! How do they deal with meeting these heroes of a bygone era, or those they know as older people, in their prime? Do Finn and/or Rey get to train with the Jedi - either before the fall of the Order, or at Luke's school? Does Poe make a name for himself as a pilot and/or commander in either the GAR or the Rebellion? Does Finn, the renegade stormtropper, get to interact with Clone Troopers - either in the prime of the army, or the few survivors that are still around after the fall of the Republic?
Do they try to change the fate of the galaxy, to stop the rise of the Empire or the First Order, and if so, how do they go about it? I’d be super keen to read something where they don’t have all the facts, that they’re floundering a bit – not everything became public knowledge, secrets were being kept, things got twisted in the re-tellings, and so on. Maybe they have to try to keep their origins a secret – how suspicious are they to those native to the time they travel to? Or do they get on with the others right from the start? Or maybe they can be open about their origins, and the people from the two different times try to piece together what happened by combining their respective fragmented knowledge – I’d love to see what misconceptions arise - on both sides!

I'd love to see one or more of these characters end up in the past, maybe season 1, season 2, or even before the series - knowing what's about to happen and trying to change it - the forces they're up against are quite powerful, and even if they do know what's coming, some things will still be very difficult to prevent and solve, so it would be very interesting to see what they can and can't change!
It would also be really interesting to see them interact with others around them who haven't time travelled - the characters have grown to know a lot about each other and grown quite close (shared trauma) over the course of the show, so the discrepancy between where the characters stand with each other in the early and later seasons would make for some very interesting dynamics!
How would Robin fit in during season 1 or 2? How would she relate to Steve who wasn’t her friend yet and barely knew she existed? What would she know about the events of the first two seasons, and what would throw her for a loop? Would she try to save Barb’s life, if she arrived in season 1, or would she be too late for that?
Or what if Steve time travelled, to before he had his heel-face turn? How would he get involved in the adventure – would he join Jonathan and Nancy in their investigations, or would he seek out the Party and help them, and how would they react, since without context, his friendship with Dustin and the rest of the Party can be quite hard to understand?
Or what if Jonathan time travelled, and found Eleven before Mike? I’d love to see the two of them bond – Jonathan is such a good big brother to Will, and I’d love to see him mentor and help Eleven. How would his knowledge change how they went about getting Will back, given that he would know enough to call Eleven on her lies and get her to tell the truth? How would he approach that, and what conflicts would there be between them in that process?

I love the way wizardry works in this series, and would love to see the characters using wizardry to time travel in their fight against the Lone Power! Or maybe the Lone Power is causing chaos all over the time line and they have to find him and stop him? Maybe there’s a calls for help from wizards of a different time that they respond to? Or maybe they go on a wizard’s holiday to a different time, and Things Happen? Maybe a shadow of the Lone Power figures out a way to undo its redemption, and they have to go back along their own time line to make sure things proceed as they should, while also avoiding themselves? I would be very interested in seeing where you choose to send the characters, and about their adventures trying to blend in, and perhaps meeting the local wizards of that time? Or about their challenges in having to be very careful with what they say as you can’t lie in the Speech. Any era, past or future, works for me: go wild!
I really like the sisterly relationship between Nita and Dairine, so I’d love to see that explored, and I also like the strong friendship between Nita and Kit. I wasn’t 100% sold on their romance in the books, when they spent so much of the earlier books denying it, so I haven't requested the / version - that being said, I'm not opposed if you do ship them and want to try to convince me!
